«This website was the first taste of personal/fandom websites we ever experienced. We found it when we were 9, and immediately fell in love with the topics, layout and the idea of having a website.
Now, over a decade later, we have our own website like we dreamed of... but suta-raito is gone, which is a bit sad.
These days, the former Webmaster has a sucessful art career. You can check her portfolio here.»

«Another fandom site that made us want to have a website. Arkeis used to be our favorite artist, and to this day their art really holds up.
While we don't know what happened to Arkeis, their art is still viewable on Smogon, as well as on their inactive DeviantArt and Twitter accounts.»

- Name: deviantart.com
- Status: Functional, but with a dying userbase and user-unfriendly layout
- Eulogy:
«What can be said about DeviantArt? It was a great place to find new artists of all skill levels. Despite its many controversies, it was a fairly integral part in a lot of people's artistic journeys.
Nowadays, the userbase isn't as vibrant and active as it used to be due to the layout change, a decision made after the site was bought by Wix.»
